Respect For Law Week
The Mid Cities Optimist Club and Optimist International recognizes that we owe a debt of gratitude to the men and women who serve and protect our communities as officers of the law. They dedicate themselves to the service of their communities and often place themselves in harms way in order to protect and defend our peace and safety.
Each year the Mid Cities Optimist Club recognizes one Officer from each of the city police departments (Hurst, Euless and Bedford) as the Mid Cities Optimist Club Officers of the Year.
Each of these officers represent the finest example of law enforcement in the Dallas/Fort Worth area and are selected by their peers for their outstanding bravery, dedication and service to their communities.
These officers receive recognition and thanks for their achievement by the Mid Cities Optimists at a breakfast held in their honor, where they and their achievements are introduced by their respective Chiefs.
